I've been looking for a reasonably light-weight insulated bowl. I've come across these: http://www.guyotdesigns.com/s.nl/sc.17/.f
I'm wondering how well these insulate? Will these keep my ramen hot enough, long enough, for the noodles to get soft?
Another thought is that if the dimensions are right, these might also serve as a pot cozy.
Not available till April, though.
One way to tell is to borrow a silicone item from your or someones kitchen and test it-such as a small loaf pan or cupcake pans. Might show how well the silicone works.
