My hubby bought me a down vest from Costco today… 5.45oz on my scale (for a womens small), and it was only $30! I haven't tested it out yet (it was 85 degrees out today), but it seems like it will be nice for layering. The label said 740 fill power down, and it seems to be pretty decent quality (no leaking down on mine). It came with a small stuff sack to pack it in… but watch out, the toggle closure is made of metal and very heavy (I took the toggle off). I'm sure it's not the lightest down vest out there, but has to be a contender for the cheapest!
