so i have purchased a bunch of these new gossamer gear packs and it seems they are already changing stuff to mirror the 2012 mariposa. they are not being so helpful on what is changing, but from what i have seen/can tell, i think this is the jist of it:
1. the new magnetic closure system is gone and is now like the new mariposa
2. the stay holder has been simplified to mirror the mariposa
3. the chest strap has been redesigned to mirror the mariposa
also, it seems like they are playing with strap width as well…
my 2012 mariposa also has 3 inch straps, not the normal 3.5 inch wide ones like my gorilla.
Anyone have a 2012 gorilla with 3 inch straps?
weird that they are still tweaking so much and selling these things at over 200 bucks. how do i know when i have the "official 2012" redesign?
