Finally got a chance to play with the Tenkara rod back in mid May. Caught quite a few Cherry Trout:
Here's what the Cherry Trout stream looked like:
After catching and releasing over 20 Cherry Trout, went over to another stream to try to find some Lenok (Manchurian Trout).

It was a parachute olive dun version tied by the guy who took me–his own special fly for these waters. They hit it pretty good.

Cary, Great to see you have found some time and great fishing water in Korea. Thanks for posting a report with pictures from another part of the world. I'm looking forward to some Tenkara fishing with you in the future.
