Ok, so I bought the Tarptent Squall 2. I pitched it in the backyard and went to work seam sealing it. The next day, the kids and I had a great time sitting in it as the sprinkler system tested out my work. (I must be a natural at seam sealing, no leaks!) I was itching to get it in the real world. So I was home alone last night and thought, lets take a quick run in the hills. I pitched late in the evening and it was super easy. Had it up in less than 5 min. I had to break camp at 4:30am to be to work by 6:30 so I took it down in the dark. Honestly, it can't get any easier than a Squall 2 or really much lighter for a 2 man tent. Backpacking is way more fun under 20 lbs!!!
