Daiwa Soyokaze Review
Cautionary Tale: Soyokaze 24SR, scroll down a ways to find it.
All Soyokaze Rods, at TenkaraBum.comDaiwa Kiyose Review.
Daiwa Kiyose, at TenkaraBum.comThe Kiyose is much like the Hane, the Soyokazes are longer in the pack, but limber, more like a traditional tenkara rod, though they are marketed in Japan as "tanago" rods.
Length comparison of the Soyokaze (Gold) and the Kiyose (Blue)If you missed out and are looking for short light packable tenkara rods, this should do it.
I have the Soyokaze 27SR and it is a delight.
Chris at TenkaraBum.com has been fishing tenkara from the beginning (in the USA), is a great guy to work with, and has a wealth of information on his web site.
