A stag party has been accused of 'lethal arrogance' today after they scaled a 3,500 feet high mountain in heavy thunderstorms – all dressed only in pyjamas.
The bridegroom-to-be, his best man and two friends were stopped 400 metres up Mount Snowdon in gale force winds and rain and advised to turn back.
But the group who had just one bottle of water between them ignored the warnings and carried on trekking all the way to the summit of the Welsh mountain on Thursday.

If every stag party did this, we'd have (1) fewer guys but (2) tougher kids descended from the ones who survived.

I catered a wedding on top of Half Dome and the Bride and Groom climbed the Snake-d1ke route on the north side while most of us took the cable route although two wedding guests started the day before, climbed the vertical face, and summitted for the ceremony. There was a forest fire going on, helicopters doing water drops, a rattlesnake on the route and the bride melted her approach shoes on the scorched earth. All of which now make good stories to tell their kids (named Tenaya and Lyell which Yosemite fans should appreciate).

There is a route by that name on the west or southwest side. Not on the north.

Right you are, Bob. It's on the side facing Glacier Point. I'm so far to the west, where I'm typing, I got turned around.

I don't see how this stag party is any more dangerous than most.

How many people die of alcohol poisoning, or the brides jealousy, while
revelling in town.
