Hi to all,
I have a pair of old Inov-8 390 gtx boots that I've used mostly for winter
hiking, so there's lots of tread left but the gtx liner started a leak
in one of the boots (yeah I know what ya think:) about gtx boots)..Since I've had very good results using neoprene sock+liner sock combo with mesh trail runners this past winter I was thinking to remove the gtx liner from the boots.
This way I'll get a pair of mesh boots and some more volume to fit an extra wool sock into the above combo.
Anyone tried it and what's to look for. Not sure how I could reach into the front portion
of the boot with a knife/scissors?
I know it's freakish warm summer out there and you would rather discuss cold drink
but I usualy think about my winter kit in full summer to keep me cooler:).
Thanks in advance!
Have a nice rest of the day. Cheers
