Hi,
A friend is looking for a cheap and light one person tent. He's got things narrowed down to the following two candidates:
http://www.sixmoondesigns.com/tents/SkyscapeScout.html
http://www.golite.com/Shangri-La-1-Tent-P46825.aspx
The pluses for the scout are presumably easier side entry and avoiding the sil nylon sag problem.
The pluses for the go lite are full double wall set up and the associated flexibility in terms of leaving the fly behind when the primary concern is bugs as well as a vent.
We'd welcome additional input from those familiar with either (or ideally both) of these tents.
Thanks
rhz.
