Hi,
I have the basic caldera cone for use with my evernew .5l pot/mug. I typically boil about .5l in the morning and .5 in the evening. I will be using 190 proof everclear as fuel. The water will be cold–from alpine lakes and streams and altitude will not typically exceed 10000 ft.
For those with experience, how much fuel in ml would you require for this scenario? I found that boiling .5l took more a higher amount of fuel than I had anticipated (maybe 25ml).
