I need 16 yards of the lightest possible – ~10d – "uncoated taffeta" – Cheap! (under $5 a yard). Seconds are fine. (I'm making "slip covers" for Exped UL7s used in Big Agnes tents to eliminate the "squeaking". I know, I know ….)
I found some junk ripstop at a "survial" site, but it is no longer available.
Know any sources?
Thanks.
Jun 18, 2012 at 1:11 pm #1888023I have some coyote 1oz rip you can have for shipping. It's not the standard 30d were All used too and isn't as down proof or durable but it is soft. I stopped using it for quilts because of stretch and down proof issues but could work fine as a pad cover, not as light as you're looking for but the price is good;)
