I have the Katabatic Bristlecone bivy and a 25" wide neoair and I keep my pad inside my bivy. As of right now I'm tying the neoair to the bivy using the attachment points provided. However, every morning I wake up with the bivy twisted around and me (on the pad) sleeping on part of the water resistant top. So far the other ideas I've read about are:

1. seam sealer lines on both pad and bivy
2. velcro strips

Any alternate ideas and/or weighing in on one of the two ideas above?

This is why I sold my bivy with a silnylon bottom. NeoAir + SilNylon was too slick.

I use a 1/8 or 3/8 thinlight (EVA foam) pad under my neoair on silnylon and I've had good results stopping the sliding problem

I'd really rather not add another piece of gear like a thin foam pad. I'm sure it would work and I'm not worried about the minimal weight gain but more about the space needed in my pack. I've been experimenting a little with gluing velcro to silnylon and I'm having no luck. Any ideas on what glue actually works?

Did you replace your sil bivy with a bivy made from another material or did you go another route?
