My new pack courtesy Chris Zimmer. Just spent a week trekking with it, and its awesome!:
Jun 15, 2012 at 1:39 am #1887140so what are the specs?
Jun 15, 2012 at 2:37 am #188714555L, 0.85kg, panel loading, matching max carry-on dimensions, aluminium hoop stay, foam back pad.
Have used it for a week and carried loads up to 13kg or so in it – very comfortable.
Also emptied it out and used as a small capacity daypack, cinched down…works very well in that capacity too.
Jun 15, 2012 at 4:43 am #1887156Very nice. What is the cost?
Jun 15, 2012 at 7:50 am #1887193Wow I really like that. Might have to get myself a Zimmer pack. What is the turn around time on one of his packs?
Jun 15, 2012 at 9:47 am #1887225Once we had a clear design brief – 2 or 3 weeks for the build I think. I'll let Chris talk price – but reasonable for something hand made to your exact preferences I think.
