I want to be able to add a camera mount to a trekking pole. Does anyone know the anatomy of a black diamond trekking pole handle or handles in general? Are they glued on? Hollow? Screwed on? The only trekking pole I see where it's easy to add a camera mount is the LT4.

Grab yourself an elastic and connect it to the camera via where a cord attaches. Then just stab your pole into the ground and connect the camera to the handle by stretching the elastic around the handle and over the far side of the camera.
If this doesn't make sense, check out Don's video here:

Jun 15, 2012 at 9:39 pm #1887424I used this for my entire A.T hike and loved it. Supports yet another good little cottage industry. Stick Pic – google it. They make them for most every model of trekking pole.
