Puchased a size 11.5. Weight without insert was 190 grams per shoe. 8-inch bathtube water test results – shoe floats upside down. Sole appears to be water impermeable. Water drained very well without socks. Walking around in bathtube, it feels like you are wearing "normal" weight trail runner not actually in the water. Not bad feeling. When I shook the water out the soaking wet weight per shoe was approximately 230 grams. After 10 minutes outside on a windy day at around 75 degrees, weight was back down to 218 grams each. Still wet though. The sole does not have lots of ridges on the bottom or indentation grippers, so it will not pick up small pebbles. It's very comfortable as a camp shoe too, not as minimalist feeling as some other minimalist shoes. Will test them out in the sierras this weekend in desolation wilderness. Final note, shoes lace up nice, stay on in the water very well. I hope they stand the water long term.
