Want to order some online but have never tried them on. Most of the shirts and jackets I'm interested in say they are slim fit. Can anyone compare their shirts and jackets to the Patagonia capilene line in terms of size?

Anyone able to comment on the fit of their 800 fill men's jacket? Thanks!

Slim fit doesn't mean 'fits skinny people well', it means 'runs small', or as they like to believe 'athletic cut'.
I'm 5'10" with a 42" chest and my Dakota windshirt is size large. It is just a touch too small to wear anything bulkier than a 100wt fleece under it. I can technically get an 850 fill MontBell UL inner under it, but I look rather 'sausage-y'.

I don't own any of their insulation pieces but when I bought my Jam, the salesman was trying *really* hard to get me interested in the Demaree. It looked nice enough, probably much the same quality as you'd see in anywhere else.

I'm wearing a Wildwood Run Top right now, which Golite describes as fitted. Mine is a size medium, and I'm typically between sizes for most brands, but I sized up for this particular shirt. I probably could have gone either way on size, just depends on how you want it fit. The fit in a medium is similar to my patagonia cap 2 t-shirt (also size medium), although the material of the wildwood is much lighter – maybe even a bit lighter than cap 1.

Not very familiar with the sizing of their jackets, so I can't help you much there. I did briefly have a Bitterroot down jacket, but quickly returned it because the hood was huge and had no adjustments.
