I'm looking for a rigid, watertight case in which to store a single CR2 battery (27 mm high x 15.6 mm diameter). Lawson's mini bottle is the right width, but a bit long, so I thought I'd ask for other ideas here before I go that route.

Unless your going diving, I'd try plastic wrap, like used for food.

EDIT: Upps, not a hard case.
I haven't seen any CR2 battery cases, but would it fit in a CR123 Case? If so, here's one made by County Comm (a military contractor) out of Delrin:
I have the CR123 locker. The CR2 is significantly smaller and would rattle around quite a bit. Thanks for the suggestion though.
Why a hard case. Anything short of hitting it with a hammer isn't going to damage it. I cannot think of anything in a typical backpacking list that would be capable of damaging it and dropping it won't damage it either. The only thing you need to protect it from is dirt and water. You don't want water to short out the battery and you don't want dirt in your expensive electronics. All you need is a waterproof plastic bag (Ziplock will work fine.
The only thing I can think of that would work as a hard case is an old 35mm plastic film case. Its 45mm long and 30mm wide.
