Just got this exciting news from the MWA. Please share as you see fit! -Addie

    Hello CDT Friends –

As you may know, the Continental Divide Trail Alliance (CDTA) closed its doors in January of this year. After the Montana and Idaho program got off the ground three years ago, this was an unfortunate blow to the momentum we were creating in our local communities.

Good news!! We are back at it. The Montana Wilderness Association stepped up and agreed to keep the efforts going. We have a full summer lined up for volunteer project work. We hope you'll take a look and sign up for your favorite project(s).

This year we are launching MWA trail work on the Continental Divide Trail – please help us make it a success. We ask that you help us fill ALL our volunteer slots and if you cannot make a field project, please donate to our work. It's imperative that we keep our connections to the local communities going and that means YOU. Please send this message to other interested friends, outdoor clubs, newspapers, etc. We need to get the word out about our new endeavor and rally support to keep our funding going for next year. We'd love to feature a newsletter article in your town about our work this summer.

You'll all be happy to know that Meg Killen is back as our Field Coordinator Extraordinaire, as well. We'd love to see you this summer!

Check out the new CDT Montana website and sign up to volunteer!

    Happy Trails!
