I've been doing more overnight/24 hour trips lately and been toying with the idea of bringing a small grill to cook fresher foods instead of eating mac n cheese. Does anyone own and/or use one? Any recommendations for a particular grill? In terms of food I was thinking steak and potatoes, maybe some veggies.

I recently found a small stainless steel pot stand at a local Japanese dollar store (ichi ban kan). Its maybe 8 x 10 or so and is thin guage and light. It has four little curves on the underside for feet to work as a pot stand. I used it this past weekend to cook pizza on a trip with my son and it worked great.

I recently bought a Purcell Trench grill and it is perfect for my needs.
They have lots of different models and weights but I got the Streamside Traveler because I fish.
I haven't gotten around to a review yet but plan to write one up with pictures. This is the fourth grill that I've tried over the last few years and I think that this one is a definite keeper!
