I was wondering if someone could help be out on the length of a Western mountaineering hoodless bag. Is a 6'6" or 7' bag actually 6'6" or 7'long? Or is the bag made to go up to the shoulders of a 6'6" or 7' person? I am tyhinking about gettin a hoodless bag to use as a quilt over some of my other bags to extent the temp rating instead of just getting a 0' bag that I would only use once a year.

Thanks

Ben

i have the wm alder and its hoodless but in regular length

the bag comes all the way up just past my shoulders and i can tuck my head inside the top and cinch it down around me on colder nights with no problem my bag fits up
to 6 ft and im 6-1

i really like my alder as i can open it up and use it as a quiltfor warmer nights then batten it down when the temps start dropping

great bags for the money for sure
