anyone ever use a go pro on trail for stills only?
with such a small package I'm tempted to take it and leave home the bulkier cam. how does it do in low light situations?

It shoots at 11mp at the 170 degree fish eye stetting.
And that is what you get, an 11mp fish eye shot.
At the 8mp setting it will crop the image down to 127 degree.
So it will look less "fish eye" but 127 degree is still VERY wide.
(about the same as a 12mm lens on 35mm)
Search Google for " Dom Bower photography Gopro " , (not the YouTube clips), and you will get to his blog where he has a series of photos from it.
