I am curious about the functionality of the optional breathable liner for the Double Rainbow tarptents. Can ye owners post some pics and comment on the liner's effectiveness? Thanks in advance.

User feedback/comments, anyone?
I personally think it works pretty well. It attaches at 8 points, and covers the entire "ceiling panel" of the DR from the the floor at one end to the other end. Even with it in I still have plenty of unobstructed head room (I'm 6'-5"). On a recent trip where I got a ton of condensation (it had snowed, and the snow was melting off) there was none on the underside of the nylon insert. I primarily bought it for really heavy rains cause I have experienced the "misting indside the tent" phenomena in my Squall under deluge conditions, but it also seems to work nicely under normal conditions.
Our experience with the liner was not so good. We mostly use the tent as a two person tent, and in heavy condensation conditions the moisture drips onto the liner, then rolls off the side of the liner which puts the drips smack in the middle of our sleeping bags. This would probably not be such as problem if used as a one person tent as your sleeping bag would be in the middle, away from most of the run-off. The liner also makes it awkward to wipe the condenastion off. We now leave the liner at home and just use a towel to wipe condenastion off. YMMV
