Hi all,
I bought a pair of FiveFingers Treksport last year, and I’ve used them often and like them very much for summer use. I haven’t lightened my pack enough to use them backpacking, though I still take them as trail/water shoes and use them on dayhikes. I still use heavy leather boots for backpacking, especially off-trail. I’ve been looking for a minimalist shoe that I could use backpacking, as well as one that would be useful for winter (one that won’t get wet most of the time and I can wear wool socks in).
I think that the Vivo Off Road mids would satisfy both of those uses (backpacking and winter minimalist shoe). Does anyone have any experience with them, or have any other suggestions?
