Have people generally found it necessary to lay down non-skid strips when using evazote pads on silnylon floors? If so, what have people found best for making them?
GE Silicone II diluted or undiluted? Pattern on the floor?
Silicone or something else on the pad? Pattern on the pad?
My gut sense is that horizontal strips on the floor and vertical on the pad will probably work well (for whatever type of pad). Has that been the case for those who have experimented?

William, I found that I didn't need any silicone strips after I put an eva pad underneath my inflatable. Worked a lot better than I expected
I don't think it's critical. If it doesn't seem too slippery in your living room then forget about it. After a trip, if it's too slippery, then put down some silicone.
I have Prolite pad so I don't know about evazote. I put down irregular blobs diluted 1:1 (or you could use undiluted Permatex Flowable Sealant). Maybe 10% of the area where my torso would be. No need to put any on the edges. Just on the silnylon, not the pad.
I prefer to put them on the pad rather than the tent floor, but it is personal preference. If you put them on the pad, it's easier to sweep/shake out your tent of debris, since otherwise it sticks to the dots.
