Hi All,

Just came back from an 8 day trip to the Dominican Republic. I packed:

clothes:
– 1 fleece (thin)
– 4 t-shirts (very thin cotton)
– 1 polo shirt (cotton)
– 1 trekking pant (synthetic)
– 1 surf shorts
– 1 3/4 shorts (with the polo as something smarter)
– 4 underwear (thin cotton)
– 2 socks (thin cotton)
– 1 shoes (sneakers)
– 1 flip flops

toiletries (all repacked & small in one ziploc):
– toothbrush & paste
– shower gel
– deo
– nail clipper
– hair gel
– aspirin
– battery operated razor (I just trim and walk around with a 3 day beard all the time)

electronics:
– iPhone & charger (movies on the plane, wireless internet, camera)
– universal power adapter

hand wash:
– clothes line
– laundry clippers
– soap concentrate

All in all, I was happy with it all. Wanted to get some opinions on handwash.

The only option for me is to wear cotton. Just works for me. Synthetics quickly get stinky for me. I was lucky to find windy and hot weather so that even the cotton dried fast.

How would you guys go about drying cotton overnight? How about carrying an ultralight hairdryer?
