Hi all, I just got a permit for a trip that will start at Onion Valley Trailhead with an exit at the Shepherds Pass Trailhead. The dates are as follows

July 4th drive to Onion Valley from The Bay Area
July 5th Onion Valley to Center Basin Junction and camp
July 6th Center Basin Junction to Tyndall Ranger Station
July 7th Tyndall Ranger Station to Anvil Camp
July 8th Anvil Camp to the Shepherds Pass Trailhead and drive home

    Day 1 11.8 Miles
    Day 2 9.6 Miles
    Day 3 7-8 Miles
Day 4 6 miles or so to the trailhead

Passes that we will be going over are Kearsarge Pass, Forester Pass, and Shepherds Pass. Sights that we will be seeing…beautiful mountains, streams, and more.

So far these are the hikers that have shown interest
    Marc Eldrige (confirmed)
    Jack Elliot (confirmed)
    Myself (confirmed)
    Rich Horne (tentative)
    Adam Criswell (confirmed)

If anyone is inerested in going on this hike let me know. If someone pulls out then you will be more than welcome to attend.

no problem Adam…since you are close to the Bay Area we should talk about carpooling. I live near San Jose and Marc lives near me.

If Rick goes, he lives nearby too
