I have a diy gravity water filter. I would like to make a carbon filter to remove bad tasting water. Does anyone have a plan to make a carbon filter. How many have carbon filters…are they really necessary?

I've been using this for a couple of years and it has worked well. Water is clean and clear. However, I've been considering trying this out as well
