We are doing Onion Valley over Forester Pass and then over Shepherds Pass and down to the trail head. Hike starts on July 5th. 2 are going and we would want to keep it at around 4-5 hikers. Pm me if you are interested. Most likely a 4 day trip. See some cool sights and have some fun!
What happened to the Whitney exit that you planned?

Whitney Zone permits are all used up for that time period and we can only do a trip with this time duration
Whitney Zone permits seem to be in a tight market.
