Osprey Hornet 46

Anybody know what the actual torso length of the Osprey Hornet 46 is? I know S/M and M/L but I am looking for more exact measurement. Trying to find all options for my son with 14" torso before pulling the trigger on anything. Thanks.

The 2012 recently released Osprey Hornet 46 now comes in small, medium, and large. I am awaiting one from REI( backordered), should get it end of month. There were sizing issues( ran small on the 2011 models).

Yeah, i am looking at some of the good deals now on the older 2011's – that's why i was asking about sizing.

I can't comment on the exact size but from what I remember many short torsoed individuals (I think around 18") found that even the M/L was too small. I'm thinking with the light frames there was a lot of torso collapse (and people probably over loading such light packs) that caused the complaints.

Historically the Osprety S/M and M/L had sizes of <19" and >19" respectively and I think the Hornet was labeled similarly (complaints aside). EMS seems to confirm this:
