I looking for some suggestions of frameless packs that works well for women. I let my hiking partner try on the MLD prophet and it was not good. I saw the MLD exodus for women might be an option. I am hoping for some suggestions from women, boyfriends or husbands who have some first hand experience. She is not a gear head so I am trying to get a list together for her to look through. Thank you.
I like my Golite Jam for most seasons and travel and use the Pinnacle for winter gear.
I just got back from a weekend trip with my wife and had a similar experience. I loaded up my Exodus and let her use my Burn with only a pad and sleeping bag inside. She hiked great all weekend, but complained about bruising in her shoulder area, which should not have been an issue with the weight. We played with with the straps constantly but couldn't find a sweet spot.
