I think it would be useful if there was a forum area dedicated to trail conditions. I dont have elaborate pictures and stories to tell on par with the the "post-trip-report" sections, but would like to post random tidbits to help other people like "April 2012 Gilita Creek trail is a mess with blowdown" , or "clayton mesa is snow free" etc. These forums seem to come up very well on google and if there was any critical mass in that forum section it could be helpful.
