Does anyone know how to contact someone at Western Mountaineering? I have a new Ultralite that weighs 31 ounces. They are listed at 28 ounces. I am wondering if the extra weight is down or if it could be something else.

It could be a change in humidity between them and you causing the down to trap more water vapor and increase the weight.
As far as their contact info, there have been a few threads about that in the past.

WM bags are typically 1-3 oz overweight.
As Jace notes, some (or much) of that may be humidity in the air. WM is in San Jose, CA, where 40% humidity is perceived as unusually high.
