Heineken Keg Can Pot

AFAIK, Heineken quit making keg cans, but some of reported still being able to find some in some stores.

IMO, the next best thing now is a ribbed fosters pot from Zelph…

It may be worthwhile getting personally in touch with Zelph, i know he had some when i was hunting for one, though that was in May last year.
Good luck with the hunt, it took me well over a year to source one here in the UK and that was only due to a friend having one he didn't get round to using.

replaced my caldera cone fosters with a 2 cup pot and 1 cup mug from zilph. I like 'm.

I did some searching this evening and found the one and only keg that was still unused. I have seven in different stages of use LOL.

Glad to hear the positive comments about the Ridged Foster pots. I just finished 5 dozen of the full size foster's with the flat bottom. They work well with many of the wood burnig stoves, Emberlit, BushBuddy etc. The Companion Burner is very popular as an alcohol stove in conjunction with the wood burners. Okay the Heineken keg pot was a bust. Now what? The foster can to me seems good but still not sturdy. What else do you guys recommend?

I Stopped into a local liquor store just a few days ago and they had a few dozen Heineken Keg cans 42oz. on the shelf.

Well where im from they stopped selling them. Ive looked up and down the Gulf coast and nothing. Id really like a few but its not looking good lol.

I've been using a Fosters pot for the last year and I haven't had any problems. I've heard people on here express some concern about it not being sturdy enough but I think it might be a little exaggerated.

I just want something reliable before i dish out the cash and not get my moneys worth. You have the ribbed or strait side foster? and what kind of stove do you use with it?

I have a ribbed Fosters can that I got from traildesigns.com and I use esbit and one of their Caldera Cones. I really like it. Plus if you're talking about just buying the pot it's only $5.95 (plus about $7 in shipping, that's the only bummer).
