I've got a Prolite Plus headed my way.

Does anyone have knowledge or experience of what patch kit is best used on the Prolite Plus.

Cascade Designs website shows 2 types. There is a Universal Repair Kit that includes a hot patch with what looks like colored fabric "cover patches". There is another Fast and Light Repair Kit that includes glue dots and clear cover patches.

What would I need for the Prolite Plus to do the best job if and when it becomes necessary?

I am guessing that the Universal Repair Kit is the best choice.

Let my education begin. ;-)

Update to this OP.

I called the toll free number at Cascade Designs and got the answer to the question that was asking.

The Universal Repair Kit is best as it contains all the parts of the Fast and Light Kit with some more items to make a more permanent repair. The strange part of this is that the two kits sell for the same price. ;-?

I have had good success with the Goo(p) style sealants. I have holes in Thermarests that were sealed with a drop of Shoe-Goo style sealants many years ago that seam to hold up quite well.

They come under various names, some of which are McNett Aquaseal, Shoe Goo, Shoe Goop, Auto Goop, Marine Goop, Household Goo, …

The McNett Aquaseal can be had in a tiny little tube that can be carried backpacking.

Thanks Steven

I'll keep all of those product options in mind.
