In aus the mosquitos can get pretty bad in the more humid areas. for many years i thought i was alergic to them because i got such bad reactions to their bites. these days i tend to eat a lot of garlic when theyre about, not so good for my peers but certainly gives some sort of repellancy. i think a lot of people worry about contracting diseases and viruses from these guys but ive never actually even thought about it. though one day i’ll probably pick something up and wish that i gave myself some protection. anyways down to the core of the matter. i saw in a camping store a few days ago an electronic mozzie repeller. it said that it worked by using ultrasonic sound. im guessing the unit would have weighed 2oz max. this would be fantastic on long distance if its effective. if no one here has any experience with one i might buy it (only a few $) and see if they hold up to their claim of repelling insects.
