It's been a really dry winter in California, but things started to change three weeks ago when the storms started coming in. It's been off and on snowing since then with tons of new snow. Looks like we'll be able to spring ski!
Anyways, we were fortunate enough to have reservations at the Peter Grubb Hut, which is a few miles off the highway, near Donner Pass. It was great that the hut was so close to the trail head because we were in the middle of one of those great storms. So, without further ado, here is my trip report (light on the text, heavy on the photos!)
