Of the trail runners I've been able to try on locally, the Nike Air Pegasus+28 Trail are most comfortable to me. I have high arches and the New Balance and Saucony models weren't as supportive.
I have been using Keen Voyageur (low tops) hikers, but they rub the outside of my big toe and the laces loops irritate the tops of my foot.
I'll be taking whatever shoes I get to Philmont and want to make sure they'll hold up.
