Does the cape have suitable points to be able to tie up the two ends of the bug bivy or is the bug bivy really only for A frame tarp set ups?

I doubt it. If you are looking for something with a little more room than the SMD Senenity Net Tent, give Bear Paw Designs a shot.
My experience ends w/the SMD setup, but I think the Bug bivy tie-outs would align w/the head & foot panel tabs in the Gatewood. Let us know what you find!
