Mar 29, 2012 at 1:18 pm #1861086Hi Ken I'm interested in joining you and Jack on this trip. How many days/nights were you thinking?
-Tyler.Mar 29, 2012 at 4:45 pm #1861207hey Tyler, thanks for the interest. However things have changed a tad and we are going over Kersarge and then over Whitney. If you would like to join us for that you are more than welcome to. Sorry for the confusion. I have been super busy at work and I forgot this was up. Let me know if this interests you. Looks like we will start hiking on July 5th

Mar 31, 2012 at 12:53 pm #1861906Tentative – Would love to hike with you and Jack again. Need to get in better shape this time though.
Mar 31, 2012 at 4:59 pm #1861970Rick, it would be a pleasure having you come with us.
Basically we are looking at this itinerary
July 4th drive to Onion Valley and camp
July 5th Onion Valley to the base of Forrester Pass
July 6th Tyndall Ranger Station
July 7th Tyndall to Guitar Lake
July 8th summit Whitney and down to Whitney Portal
Spend the night at the backpackers campground at the Portal Or spend the night at the Whitney Portal Hostel
July 9th drive homeTo enter the Whitney Zone there is a quota. Also there is a fee of $15 per hiker. Since I am low on funds I would be very appreciative if I could be reimbursed via Paypal after we secure the Whitney exit?
If any of the group has to pull out I will send the money back.I would like to keep this at 5 in the group. David Wage might be (and hopefully!) joining us on our first day along the JMT as he is completing his trip which will bring the total to 6
This looks to be a great trip!
Mar 31, 2012 at 5:12 pm #1861979" because of the off trail hiking."
I can't figure out where your off-trail hiking is.
