Thanks for the report, Tim. I've spent many a happy winter night out at the Hoist Lakes. They seem to hold ice longer than many in MI. Glad your kids got to enjoy the trip with you. Looked like fun.

Nice TR Tim! I'm thinking about heading up there next weekend for the first overnight trip of the year. Did you see anyone else there? i was hoping i could find some solitude and bring my dog as well, who doesn't quite know how to behave all the time yet.
