May 1, 2007 at 9:15 am #1387785Thanks for that site on fire starting! I have recently been working with our Camp Fire teens on this. Many of us nowadays seem to feel that if we've read about some technique, we know how to do it. Fire starting can take practice, especially in less-than-ideal conditions. We city folk using backpacking stoves don't get much practice unless we make a special point of it.
