I've been researching these 2, and haven't found anything conclusive yet. What's the deal? The MH apparently weighs a good bit more, but sounds like it has more insulation, but that is unconfirmed. Can anyone help me straighten this out?

Thanks for your time,

Pete

I'd say that the compressor is warmer, closer in warmth to the Patagonia micropuff as compared to the nanopuff.

got it on sale for 90 bucks at rei (no-hood version).

bloody warm, i sweet if im more than walking. great jacket a little heavy though at over a pound… but over all im happy with it. be careful though, first real outing with we had a fire at the beach and an ember mad a grain of rice sized burn through the out layer, this is purely my fault and i shouldn't have been wearing it then

EDIT: i also have a friend with the nano and loves it.

id say it just comes down to whats lightest/cheapest for you at the time of purchase, both are great :)

I love the Nano Puff and Primaloft in general. My wife has the REI version (Revelcloud) and its great too.

Get which one has the style, fit and cost you light though.
