Here are two examples of the entirely custom quilts that I just finished for customers:

Green 20 degree quilt
– 13oz of 900 fill down
– closed footbox
– shaped shoulders and neck ensuring good fit
– 58" at shoulder, 52" at waist, 40" at foot, 69" length
– Pertex Quantum 0.9oz outer, SevenD inner
– 19.3oz finished weight
– Vertical baffles for better down control (no down falling off the sides creating cold spots)

Gray 20 degree quilt
– 13.5oz of 900 fill down
– drawstring footbox with draft plug
– zipper and snaps for footbox closure
– shaped shoulders and neck
– 56" at shoulder, 50" at waist, 40" at foot, 76" length
– Pertex Quantum 0.9oz inner and outer
– 20.4oz finished weight
– Vertical baffles

is to integrate your down balaclava with the quilt to make it a modular sleep system combining the greatness of quilts and the warmth of the hood on the sleeping bag!

Ben made a box wall Balaclava for this purpose for me
I will use it when not carrying the down parka he made me :-)
