Anyone know where to find side release buckles that don't adjust on either side?
(I tried to upload a photo of what these look like but no luck)
Thanks,
TJ

Thomas,

I've seen ones with one side that doesn't adjust but never two. Not saying they don't exist, just that I've never seen them.

The trend seems to be more toward buckles that adjust on both sides. That way it can be attached to webbing without sewing. It can also be attached in a non-adjusting manner by sewing (or a retainer buckle).

Thanks, Daryl. The non-adjusting buckles are used in reverse pull waist belts like MH uses.

here

Thomas,

OK, like the link above right?

Hadn’t noticed those before. Thanks for the new info.

You could, of course, just use a single or double adjustable buckle in its place but then why use something you don’t need if you can get the right buckle.

I've made that style hipbelt. Just use a dual adjust and run it through the outside rung of the ladder. It works well. Just make sure that the connection point on the hipbelt is fairly close together, otherwise the webbing can twist.

Daryl, that's it.

Michael, thanks for letting me know a dual pull works. What do you like better b/w regular and reverse pull?
