I love my Patagonia Houdini, but the water repellant layer has broken down a bit, especially around the cuffs. I don't want it to be totally waterproof, but I want to get it back to the original water resistant condition. How would I do that? What products are the best to use in this situation?

I have used ReviveX and it works pretty good. Still not as water resistant as my Momentum90 wind shirt though. I did use Nikwax TX.Direct wash-in on a Houdini. Better water resistance than normal but still not as much as the Momentum90 but still a lot more breathebble.
Here’s what Patagonia suggests…
I recently did what Patagonia suggested and that seemed to work well for me. It was the first time that I washed it. Not sure how many washes their DWR will hold up.
IIRC, Patagonia's DWR uses the Epic process, which lasts much longer than most DWRs because it's not just a surface finish.
Throw it into the dryer. The heat will reactivate the DWR.
Might not need any products.
Thanks Guys. I'll follow the Patagonia advice and wash it with Nikwax Tech Wash or something similar. I have never washed it, but according to them, sometimes that is all it needs. It's funny, because when I bought the Houdini, I felt like such a sucker because it was so expensive, even though it was on sale. But it has turned into one of my most useful and cost effective garments.
I know this is off subject, but I can't resist. Does any one recognize Alcatraz in my picture? I was on Angel Island in the middle of San Fransisco Bay.
Now that you point it out I can see Alcatraz in the background. I've swam to shore three times from that island. The event is called the Shark Fest Swim.
