Chrome Dome reflective Material

Seattle fabrics used to sell heat reflective fabric. I used some for bivy bottom. But they discontinued.

I think all they have now is reflective, like you can see it if you shine headlights on it. I don't think that will reflect heat.

I am going to order the 30d from DIY. I had seen the reflective at Seattle, but it looks like another animal all together. I'll post back here once it comes in to report if it is close to the GoLite material, in case anyone finds themselves asking the same question at a later date.

Most of the reflective ripstop nylon has been well proven by the USA military in the brutal desert region of Iraq.So I would not worry about the fabric plus it easier to source than chasing down reflective polyester that golite uses.
When I saw chrome dome at first I thought you were looking for the perforated mylar nylon that Sequel use to use on their Hat to keep your noggin cool. Sequel made in their great outdoor clothes in the USA then owner took a early retirement. It was by far best duck bill sun hat I even owned it would keep me cool all day long flying R/C gliders.
