I'm going to be camping in some pretty seriously windy conditions and I'd like to be able to safely put a windscreen around my Pocket Rocket, and I can't seem to find either the Brunton or Markill adaptors. Any suggestions? It seems like switching it to a remote canister would be the safest way to do that.

Edit: Actually, I might have answered my own question! If the other end fits a standard canister?

Ben,

If you are interested in a Brunton Stove Stand I'm pretty sure I know where you can get one for a reasonable (less than original cost) price plus shipping costs for your preferred method.

Thanks Jim, that's sort of what I figured. Any suggestions for standard threaded canisters?

I’m still seeing the type that will work with standard threaded canisters on eBay. These are not Brunton, though. Quality? I can’t say one way or the other..

Looked like the other Jim had an actual Brunton one for you, yes? If so, then you’re set. Otherwise, if you become a member here, you could put a “WTB” (want to buy) notice on the Gear Swap, or you could try eBay.

Edit: 26 dollar shipping? Sad panda.

I purchased the Flat-Gas to Butan Gas STove Adapater 72511 (actually 2 of them) but does anyone know where I can find the adapter that will work on my butane it is?
According to http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-SET-MULTI-USE-GAS-ADAPTOR-LANG-CAN-AND-FLAT-CAN-/110861456234?_trksid=p4340.m185&_trkparms=algo%3DSIC.NPJS%26its%3DI%252BC%26itu%3DUA%26otn%3D5%26pmod%3D110830560517%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D8301544483803299739

it is a BRS-17 or BRS-17A General purpose Gas adapter. but I cannot find it.

Thanks
Tom Tom
