    Silicone-polyester sounds even better, less stretch,  less water absorption,  better UV resistance… being a bit less abrasion resistant and a bit less resistant to hydraulic pressure are less significant negatives.

    Better UV resistance and less stretch seems like a big deal, pitching a shelter so nothing rubs against it is basic enough.
