I am wanting to plan a 40-50 mile trek in the canyonlands. Last spring break I hiked the buckskin gulch, and i really want to explore the area even more.

Anyone have any experience in the area with any recommendations? I'm looking for a hike with a little of everything (slot canyons, arches, formations, scrambling… etc). I'm open to the needles or the maze districts or really anywhere ha. Routes with pictures would be awesome!

If you're willing to do a bit of legwork as far as route finding, topo map marking, and possibly GPS use, this section hike of the Hayduke is pretty fantastic and has a bit of everything at around 50 miles. I did it last spring and had a blast.
