Quick question, does anybody make an Epic bivy anymore?
I have had great luck with the fabric, weather resistant, durable!
Edit: I do need this to fit a winter bag, preferably with a mid length zip.
Thanks
Feb 17, 2012 at 4:09 pm #1840941I remember that Ryan didn't like epic that much. a search here might help you, cause I do not know what the shortcomings were.
MLD used to make some epic bivies a long time ago.
You might be better of with Momentum 90 or go straight for event for a winter bivy.
Feb 17, 2012 at 6:04 pm #1840999Epic… not anymore.
MLD eVENT Soul Bivy would be way better of an option.
Ron "Fallingwater" Moakl still said it best as far as I am concerned.
Feb 17, 2012 at 6:06 pm #1841001Epic has issues with freezing up in a certain temp window. IIRC, it's a narrow window but one you'd likely experience.
